Surpaul Cottrell was born and raised in Cambridge Massachusetts. He previously served 12 years in prison for drug trafficking. He was released from prison in the spring of 2019. He has transformed his life and became a better version of himself. He’s now slowly transitioning from handcuffs to cufflinks.

Surpaul also know as Beast (Business Entertainment And Serious Talk) is a serial entrepreneur who got the name Beast because he goes super hard with anything that he is passionate about. Beast wears many hats. He is a published author, an ISSA certified elite trainer, music producer/ songwriter /DJ, an advocate for criminal justice, prison reform, and restorative justice, as well as an active father.
